Basketball's Top Rated Kindergartner

I saw this article yesterday about Marquise Walker and how when he was 2 he could dribble a basketball like no other toddler. So his Dad worked him, got him a trainer and began developing Marquise to be the next Michael Jordan. Yes, he may not grow. He may be too slow. Only time will tell.

Anyhow, his Dad filmed videos of this youngster's mad skillz, took photos of Marquise in the company of many NBA players and posted them on YouTube. He essentially fabricated, although his son is good, this mystique surrounding this kid's talents. He labeled his son "basketball's top-rated kindergartner." Sure, scouts start looking at athletes at a young age, but kindergarten? Come on. There's no such thing... until his Dad made it up. Only the future will show us if this marketing ploy pays out or drives Marquise to the couch of every shrink in town. Hello, Todd Marinovich & Jennifer Capriati. We shall see. Check the video out, it's once again amazing what one can do with time, a video camera and the internet.
